Jason C. Palmer, Esq.
Bio
I protect ideas and their creators. I’ve helped pro bono clients and solo musicians review managerial, licensing, and performance agreements. I’ve also helped large business entities protect their trademark portfolios and litigate copyright infringement matters. My intellectual property experience is broad. I also have a strong background litigating a plethora of matters, including intellectual property, real property, business disputes, and healthcare matters. This background gives me a prospective approach to problem solving, allowing me to identify risks and opportunities early so that my clients maximize valuable resources in the long term. I pride myself on delivering insightful and sophisticated advice to all clients, large and small.
A large part of my practice involves trademark prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, including obviating office action refusals and navigating oppositions and cancellations before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Because trademark prosecution is often the first step toward brand protection, my advice regularly trends toward strategic use, maintenance, and policing of my clients’ brands.
I am a native of Bluefield, Virginia. My practice is in Nashville, Tennessee.
